What is the Launch Loudoun Technical Assistance Program?

This program offers personalized support in Marketing & Sales, Finance & Accounting, Legal & Compliance, HR & Workforce, and Leadership & Strategy — with up to 10 hours of services subsidized by Loudoun County — to help small businesses grow and thrive.

Who is eligible to apply?

Any small business operating in Loudoun County is welcome to apply.

How much does it cost to participate?

There is no cost to eligible small businesses for initial participation. Loudoun County fully covers up to 10 hours of expert support, which may be used as one 10-hour technical assistance project or two separate 5-hour projects per business. If additional services are needed beyond the covered hours, the business and service provider may coordinate directly on any additional fees.

How do I apply?

Click on the “Apply Now” button on the main page and complete the application form. Once submitted, we will review your needs and match you with the right service provider.

How will I know if I’m accepted?

After submitting your application, you’ll receive a confirmation email. If your application is approved, a team member will contact you to begin the matching process.

Can I choose my service provider?

Our team will pair you with a vetted provider best suited to your needs. However, you can request a specific provider, and we’ll do our best to accommodate.

What happens after I get matched?

You’ll schedule and receive up to 10 hours of consulting services subsidized by Loudoun County. Progress and outcomes will be tracked through our digital tools and session reports — keeping everything organized and transparent.

Can I apply more than once?

Businesses may apply once per round of the program. If you have new or additional needs, you can reach out to us for review.

Service Providers:

How do I join as a provider?

To join Loudoun County Technical Assistance Program as a service provider, simply complete our short online application form. You’ll share your expertise, service areas, and availability. Once reviewed and approved by our team, you’ll be added to our provider network and eligible to be matched with small businesses in need of support.

Are services paid or volunteer?

Loudoun County Economic Development funds up to 10 hours of paid support per small business. The County will pay you directly for those approved hours.

Any additional time or services beyond the 10-hour subsidy are at the discretion of the provider and the small business, and must be mutually agreed upon. These additional hours will not be covered by the County.

How are businesses matched with me?

Once a small business completes their intake form, our team evaluates their needs and matches them with a provider who best fits their goals, industry, and challenges.

You’ll be notified when a match is made, and given a clear scope to begin work.

Results are tracked through a centralized CRM and reporting platform managed by TitanProz and Scaleup Force. This includes:
